Grooming Policy

Your pet is very important to us. We assure you that we make every effort to ensure your pet’s grooming experience is as safe and pleasant as possible. Safety comes first for everyone, people as well as the pets, during the grooming process.
All new puppy clients being serviced in our salon, must be up to date on all puppy vaccinations.

If your dog presents with a matted coat

We do not dematt a matted a coat – it is painful for your dog and damaging to your dog’s mental and physical wellbeing. We will provide you with professional advice as what is required to remove the matting. A matting fee will be charged.

Appointment etiquette

Cancellation of appointments

As a busy business with a waitlist,  48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel in less than 48hours 50% of your booking fee will be invoiced.    

If you simply do not show up 100% of the groom will be charged upon booking another appointment.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to re schedule. Please notify us at least 30 minutes before your appointment if you know you are running late, to see if we can still accommodate.
At The Groom Train we provide a unique one dog at a time in the salon experience, therefore we ask that you are available for pick up on time.
